Do you use a lot of armorall on your interior?

You need to clean the windows really well with windex or something similar. I've seen this a lot on cars that haven't been really cleaned in a long time and cars that use a lot of armorall.

+1 on what she said. Even really cheap window cleaners will do it.

Another thing to consider is if you leave open container drinks in your car often like a soda cup or something. Leaving open containers in your car not only will sweat and crap out the cupholders, it will end up on your windows as well.

We have the same problem with our 92 R/T. I suspect its coming from heater core, which might have a small leak. The anti-free vapors will leave a film and also fog up your windows when you put on the defroster. Our car seems to loose a small amount of coolant as we have to top it off quite regularly with no noticable leaks anywhere. Replacing the heater core could be quite challenging. I'm still looking into doing it myself in the near future and will post results at that time.
