I have an ES I love the car I think the RT gets more attention because of the side spoilers and the tail lights being on top. The air intakes for the break cooling do look cool but the ES is also a very cool car and we don't have to worry about burned up turbos. I did paint the black plastic around the roof red which is what the rest of the car was painted. I think that getting rid of some of the black makes the car a little more sporty looking. I also have tested some paint for the wiper blades I wire wheeled the old arms top side underneath was fine. The top was rusty so I wire wheeled them and painted them with three coats of Rust O leum BBQ which does not need primer and works well in high heat so far so good, and the color looks like the factory powder coat flat black and clean. This old ride has so many miles on it and the body shows the miles so I am buying a piece at a time when I find them. I need the clear fish eye lenses for the head lights not sure why they have them but mine are cracked. Its a fun car to mess around with because they make so much for them. I am going to ask about the lights.

I was told that the ES stood for (Euro Sport) and the Europeans like the natural non turbo cars because of the short tight turns on thier roads and the turbos dont respond as well because they don't have time to spool the turbo. So never fear the ES has its place. They have a run in the Carolinas called the Dragons Tail something like 317 turns in a few miles that might be a great Stealth meet and I wonder if the ES would do well????????

We have 2 es rite now although one is being torn apart and parted out after we get the parts that we need. We love the es alot and opted to get another es to fix ours then to get a twin turbo. Personally the es is better in the way that when something happens it is easier to fix. The es engine is not easy but doable when it comes to rebuilding it.

Jakster Lives on his sail boat 38 foot Catalina named Krugerrand in the Florida Keys until spring and I am taking the boat to Texsas and putting it in storage for a year while I do some work to it and help out my old parents up in New Mexico. The picture is my car at Seven Mile Bridge its kind of a famous place down here. Seven miles over the ocean was a big deal in 1935.
