Default Looking for A Stealth as a DD

I've been searching for a new Daily Driver and just looked at a 95 Stealth Today. I was disapointed in the fact that the add said Stealth RT but it turned out to be a regular Stealth.

I need to find somewhere or someone who can give me information about what models where available in what years, and what are the difference between these models. I hear alot about stealth ES's but when I look up the models in 95 I dont see ES listed. Is the 95 non RT i looked at today a base model with 164hp and not 222hp?

Can anyone give me other Stealth specific sites or forms to find information and maybe even for sale sections? I'd really like to know all the difference betwen models and years. I do a minimal amout of info since i wanted a stealth a few years back, but have forgoten mostly everything....thanks in advance for any help!

well for stealth sites just do a google search thats how i found and got into stealths. as for the models the base stealth is the wimpy 164hp model. and as for the es it was made 91-93 i ahve a 93 red es stealth. and since your looking for a dadily driver i would say go with the es because overall its the best. it has the 222hp engine just like the rt and can have basically all the same options just a different body. the es also has a lower insurance rate. there was a 150$month difference for my insurance if i would have gotten a rt. the es is a great car. talk to thestealth he knows more then anyone one this site about stealths. here are some sites that have parts or talk about stealths. www.3si.org www.dynamicracing.com good luck and let me know what u get or if u have any more ?'s ill answer them as good as i can or the stealth will answer them he answered all my ?'s when i got into the stealths hes a good man.

Thanks for the help/info... I was also wondering if I found a base or ES model, how hard/expensive is it to find the pieces needed to do an RT body conversion (also what parts are needed, tailights, rear bumper, side skirts, anything else?)?

I have a 1992 R/T w/ only 70000 miles on it. My uncle bought it brand new in 92. Something didn't work on it, took it in & was told it would cost thousands of dollars to fix. So it sad for a few years, covered by a tarp in the garage. My cousin then asked for it so he just gave it to him thinking it would cost X amount to fix it. Then when my cousin took it in it was only a $12 part & it was good as gold (uncle doesn't know this). Cousin sold it to me because he wants some sort of Vet. It is in beautiful shape & has been babied like no ones business. I've driven it every day since I got it. It drives like a dream! The interior is perfect! I had a clutch problem but got it fixed. I was offered $$$ by the dealership but couldn't part w/ it. I'm ready to let it go now if you're interested. It is like a brand new vehicle. Trust me, it's an R/T AWD that will just leave 'em at the stop light!
