Default 93 dodge stealth e/s only starts by disconnecting injector

My '93 stealth 3.0l SOHC has been giving me starting issues the last 2 months where I have had to disconnect the fuel injectors for cylinder 3 and 5 and hold the gas down to get it started. After it starts and idles for about 30 seconds and I plug the injectors back in, the car runs fine the rest of the day. I thought it may be bad Injectors so I ordered new ones and just put them on with new plugs, wires and fuel filter. I've replaced the cap and rotor, havent done the distributor yet. But I'm still getting the same damm start issue. I'm at my wits end with this issue. The car puffs alot of smoke that smells like straight gas once it does start. When I bought the car only problem was a bad fuel pump. When it was installed the car fired right up. Any ideas what my problem is?

Excessively rich at start. If you have to hold the pedal down, AND disconnect two injectors, it is absolutely DUMPING gas into the cylinders..... I would suspect a failed/failing coolant temp sensor first.... especially if it runs fine once it warms up a little.

Edit: See what the PCM thinks engine temp is at stone-cold startup. (scanner required.)

It was the coolant temp sensor. I disconnected it and now the car starts up everytime no problem. The sensor is $20 at the parts store up the road so itll be replaced
