Default ECU popular topic and Tour/Sport problems

I am having some big problems with my 1993 Stealth R/T TT I took it to my local Dodge dealership they barely even knew what a Stealth was but they ended up telling me my ECU is bad so I sent it off to get rebuilt and I was wondering what could cause it to go bad that i might have to fix to prevent a repeat or are they just built really crappy. I was also curious to why the Tour/Sport light would constantly flash and what i should do to fix this problem

Leaky capacitors on the boards is usually what cooks an ECU. They can be replaced by a shop or yourself if you are handy with soldering equipment.

As for the blinky tour/sport light, it could be 2 things; a broken wire on one of your strut mounts, or the ECS controller has went bad.
