If it is leaking from the timing belt side of the engine...I would say that it is the water pump leaking. If you replace the water pump, you should also go ahead and replace the T-belt and all applicable pulleys/tensioners/idlers.

As the last poster said its probably the water pump.

He neglected to mention one important thing. WHen the pump starts leaking it WILL eventually seize. When this happens it WILL shread the timing belt. Since you have the SOHC you'll just end up with a car that stops in an inconvienant place. Anyone with a DOHC engine will probably need internal engine work it the pump fails.

Good advice Alan...I just assumed when someone's waterpump starts leaking they would replace it.
