Default i need help!

i blew the motor in my RT. now i found a turbo motor. is it going to hook up the exact same like everyone says it does? also am i going to need to upgrade my tranny or can it handle some boost? what needs to be upgraded?

He has an RT, it has the Mitsubishi 6g72 DOHC. It really has very little to do with any of the Chrysler derived engines. I'm pretty sure the DOHC engine was only used in Stealths/3000gts and some Diamontes..? They were also used in some JDM cars. There are a few threads here that detail some of the stuff you'll need to change, but...some of the motor mounts are differents (front and rear I think), the wiring harness is different, the ECU, you will need the intercoolers and plumbing, the oil pan and exhaust. It will bolt up to the tranny...if you have an ATX, you may run into some problems though.

I don't really care for the ALLPAR site as they barely have any information on Stealths...just a couple of footnotes here and there...they don't even give the Stealth it's own forum section...
