im installing this and its touching the plenum barly. when i excelerate it flexs a little. what did i do wrong or is it ok?

o well i learned my lession. dont buy crap from ebay just cause its cheaper. it never fits well or dosnt fit at all. i will be buying the polished 3sx one for like 170$

Have you tried using washers under the mounting plates to give it the needed clearance?

yup i put as many as i could fit on the bolts and still didnt give me room. even w/out them the way it was designed the hood had to be forced shut. I got rid of the pos and bought a 3sx one, fits perfect.
