Sorry also the transmission was replaced with a rebuilt one but its only been like 6 months since they put it in, would that be the problem or should i still go with the fluid/flitter check, and if so is it the transmission fluid and which flitter?

EDIT: I also heard that when doing the fluid/filter change it causes more problems and lead to getting a new tranny, and if not what fluid and filter would be best for it

if the trans was recently rebuilt the oil and filter change wont hurt it, what you are talking about is if the trans has never been serviced and has high milage sometimes you are better off not changing the fluid and filter. i just had my trans rebuiltbecause it was doing the same thing as yours, when you stand on the gas it would feel like it would go into nuetral, and when the engine rpms came back bown it would engage again. the trans shop told me the clutches and one of the drumsand the torque converter were bad. havent had any more problems since and have put about 7000 miles on it since. have a trans shop check it out!

Hey thx for the tip and also I was wondering, it was rebuilt about 11 months ago almost 1 year, would you still be able to change it or just check it out, also how much did it cost you to do all that clutch drums and convertor. and how much would a fluid and filter change be? thanks again...

EDIT: I HAVE A AUTOMATIC STEALTH

A mechanic told me that it could possiblely be the rotar where ever that is, next to the engine I think
But could that be the problem or not at all for the car to jerk back and forth like when i go at constant speed but when i acclerate while its jerking it will lanuch

any response would be great thx!

depending on where you take it the fluid and filter change will probably be about 80 to 100 bucks. if it was you had it rebuilt about a year ago i would think it should still be warrentied, mine cost me 2000 bucks at aamco. with a 3 year warrenty. there is no rotar maybe he was talking about the torque converter.

Dam 2000 with the warrenty thats a grip well, I hope its a little thing because i dont even have the money to do that. And how much would the torque convertor be, because it was a rebuilt tranny and convertor on the same warrenty.

And thx for the suggestion!
