Wheel Offset question.

I am looking at some new wheels for my 92 Dodge Stealth TT. My buddy has a set of OZ Ultralagera there 18x8 with a +48 offset. I know the base offset for all Stealth rims are 46 offset but i am still clueless if a 48 offset will work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
