Default Steering Problem

Well let me start with the story on how i got my stealth

I bought it off an auction (bad idea) for $2800

when my mom drove it around for awhile to get the feel for it

then it stalled out. ecm & iac problems

so we got that fixed for about $500

then at the dodge dealership (which has the WORST costumer service EVER!!!)

they told us that the steering colunm (or something like that)

was messed up and it would cost $3000 to fix!!!!

is there any other options so i don't have to pay this much??

Never goto dealerships, they overprice their parts and servers. Do you have any local garages or performance shops around where you live. If you do talk to them and see what they say about fixing it.

Have you noticed something wrong with the steering? They were probably talking about the steering rack as those are pretty expensive. You should get a 2nd opinion at a trusted mechanic. Sometimes dealers can be a little unscrupulous.
