Default 95 Stealth Alternator removal

Need some advice, attempting to remove the alternator from a 95 stealth. Have it loose but not coming out from top or bottom. Remove wheel and cover to engine, and still tight. I went to www. stealth316.com website and that shows that the alternator is in the front of the car. This 95 is in the rear....anyone know and can advice.

You must have the SOHC engine in your Stealth. I've never really probed around in an SOHC engine bay much, but what is preventing if from coming out the bottom? The half-shaft maybe, or steering rack?

Removed it, but the only way it was getting out was thru the passenger side on the engine compartment, i removed the battery and the battery holder which hold the windshield fluid container. Moved the alternator behind the engine, being careful not to hit a sparkplug wire and came out easily. Alot of work , and probably the wrong way of doing it, but worked

Wow, sounds like a PITA. I guess having to only remove the radiator fan on my TT to pull it out is cake in comparison.
