Default new stealth buyer. need some advice

ive been looking to buy another car for a few months now and i finallycame acrosssomething that i liked the otherday,a stealth es. the body is perfect as well as the leather interior. i thought i found a good deal since he was selling it for 1900 dollars. the only problem with it is that it has 200,000 miles on it. i started it up and the engine ran beautifully, no ticking. no smoke came out of the tailpipe. i test drove it and everything worked fine. despite the high mileage i was pretty confident i wanted this car. anyways i floored it to check out its acceleration and i noticed whenever i floored it i heard a whistling noise, almost like a turbo. i was thinking it might have been a loose belt.i was just wondering if this would be a good buy considering the high mileage and if the whistling sounded like a serious problem. just needed some input. i dont know how many miles these motors usually get out of them.

If it was properly taken care of, these engine will last a good long time. If you buy, then start ragging the **** out of it, don't expect it to last another 200k.

Who knows what the whistling sound is. Is it coming from inside the engine bay, or from the exhaust?
