HEADLIGHTS
Hello, my first time here. I have a 1994 Stealth and need some help. My headlights are plastic and are turning frosty, making night vision a little scary. Is there a way of polishing them to bring them back to something that will let light through or do I need new ones. If new are there any breakers that can offer used ones because I'm on the other side of the world and P&P is expensive. I appreciate any help.
They are made from lexan I believe. Are they getting glazed/foggy on the outside? If you, you should be able to use some rubbing compounds and elbow grease to polish them up. I've never done it myself, but I've heard of others doing it.

Here is a procedure I found for polishing your headlight covers.

Again, thankyou for your help, the article made good reading. I do believe that my headlights are the Lexan that you mentioned earlier and the problem isn't the moisture inside it seems to be that the plastic is just rotting to give a frosted look. I'm going to try the elbow grease and look on ebay as advised. Thanks. Any idea what the best rubbing compound might be. I am in Dubai and options are a little limited. Thanks again.
