Default misfire?!?!?!?!

I have a 93 Dodge Stealth ES with 208,000 miles. It ran like a champ up until one day I was coming off of the highway and noticed my car shuddering trying to make it up the off ramp. my stealth can barely make it up hills now and shudders under 3k RPMs. It turns out that i have a constant misfire that wont go away. I checked air, ignition, and fuel over and over again, my plugs wires injectors fuel pump everything, i must have checked the compression 3 or 4 times now and every cyl is even. My engine is probably royally ****ed. But if there truly is a higher power, hopefully hes on this forum and has a solution.

Have you checked the ECU caps? There is a couple of threads here that show the procedure for checking them.

Does your car have ECS?

get it on a computer and do a full diagnostic. Until then your just guessing. I'm new to Stealths, but I've learned it's a computer driven everything car.

If its making a ticking sound as well i would say its the first gen valve lifters... its a common problem. I would buy a set of third gen valve lifters on ebay for about $200... i just had mine replaced... its kind of a pain to do and you have to make sure you do not screw up the timing.

You need to put a noid light on the injectors of the bad cylinders when the car is running and see if they are being pulsated if they arent and they have voltage then its probably a bad ecm
