A604 Transmission Problem? Come here to solve your problem!

I am in the process of fixing problems with my transmission. A lot of transmission shops will tell you the transmission needs rebuilt when really it doesn't. I found this site with A LOT of information and tips and things to try if you think your transmission is going bad.
Below are a few examples :
Transmission Fluid - DON'T USE DEXTRON! It wears away the clutch, use ATF+3 (or 4)!
Speed Sensor could be the problem
Shift Solenoid
Computer needs retrained
Incorrect filter
Loose electrical work
