99 dodge stratus cd player
hey everyone
first real post here, previously owned a 94 cavalier, got t-boned by a dodge pickup 4x with a trailer at a red light on the highway, luckily wasnt my fault, insurance payed out and I bought this one, 99 2.4 dohc, timing belt soon to be done, front bearing and fluid changes done only already, 108k, 2200 CAD, not bad I thought, its an american car though, miles on the speedometer with km on the signs is a little strange
anyway to the topic of this thread I would like to address, I recently had an alpine cd player installed, perhaps I should and will go back and ask them however I thought id throw this out, sometimes the volume of the speakers, cd player etc is much louder at a certain volume setting and sometimes it is much quieter, I dont know why, its very random and its annoying, any input would be appreciated
take care
peace

How was it installed? Professionally or parking lot swap? It sounds like theres just some higher-than-normal resistance intermittently. If it was done at a shop, then take it back and complain, but if you did it yourself, or had a friend do it (no disrespect intended) pull it out again, and check all your connections. Re-solder everything and use shrink tubing. My Kenwood works like a charm. yum yum.
