Default Looking for a few tips

Hi, I have an 02 Stratus SE with the 3.0L engine. Its a little over 70k and I am looking to take it in for a tune-up. Has anyone used the Bosch Iridium plugs yet? If so, notice any difference in fuel economy or anything else? Also does anyone have some suggestion on spark plug wires, or are they all mostly the same? And finally, with it being spring time, I am thinking about getting new rims and tires, have any of you guys gone to 18" rims, I am looking at 18s, but I am a little concerned about rubbing in the wells on turns or bigger bumps. Any help would be great, Thanks.

I've been running the Iridiums in mine for 60K miles ... Can't say I noticed MPG improvement seems like a smoother idle , but I did the enhanced grounding at the same time ...
I'm running 10mm Magnacore wires been pleased so for ....

Really spark plugs are spark plugs. They alldo one job and they all do it exactly the same. I suggest going with the cheap old Champions. I just replaced mine last night. Cost like $1.75 per plug and they work great. That is even what your car comes with from the factory. All the higher priced one do is lighten your wallet. You will get the same increase in power and MPG with any spark plug change. It has nothing to do with which brand or type just you now have new ones and they perform much better than your old ones, hence feeling an increase in power and seeing an increase in your MPG.

i would agree with bloodred. the factory specified plugs work the best because they are specifically spec'd for the motor. although they wear faster and need replacement in shorter intervals they are good reliable plugs. and just on a side note, i have never seen any difference in the fuel economy or performance in any car by upgrading the plugs, so go for stock

the reason I have always heard about for getting better grade plugs. Is if your planning on doing performance upgrades on your car. cause they spark hotter and its a more steady spark. But if your planning on keeping you car stock well your best bet is the stock plugs. No point in upgrading the plugs if your not going to upgrade your ignition system completly. or do any other upgrades for that matter.
