i have a 98 dodge stratus 2.4 liter and my check engine light came on. i got it scanned and it said it was the EGR Valve. it would be like 200 bucks to fix, but i have no clue where the EGR Valve is to do it myself. Can anyone help me out, maybe give me a link to a site that has a map of the engine or something. thanks

 

i have a 96 stratus .. 2.4... egr valve on mine is bad as well.. getting ready to replace.. egr valve is located on drivers side of engine.. back side.. on top... right behind air filter and fuel injection.. be careful.. there are some cheap plastic vaccuum lines.. easy to break.. 25 cents to fix w/ a piece of rubber hose. for now i just have the rubber line between the 2 pieces of the egr valve disconnected.. runs alot better but not great... autozone sells them for 206.00 .. advance auto sells them for 203.. the dealership sells them for 106 (go figure) and NAPA is a whole whoppin 63 bucks...
