I have an 05' stratus, and does the check engine light go on if ur low on oil. Im not sure but teice when my oil was a quart low, and a 1/2 qt low thge engine light turned on. and when i filled oil up, after a couple hours the light turned off.

 

yes (p0522: oil press sens input low vlot; p0523: high volt), goto the local parts store and see if that is why the lightcame on, they will read the code for free. if that's the issue i'd wonder were the oil is going, just a leak or something else?

 

Well you could have a faulty sensor... Ummm... how often are you low on oil? It sounds like you may have an oil leak...
