99 ES Questions from new owner
just purchased this 2.5L version this week. It has 112,000 and I am unable to trace any maintenance records since 99,000mi. I am fourth owner and not familiar with this car but it seemed to drive really well and bought it for my college bound daughter so I want to do what I can to minimize future problems. Based on my a little research, It looks like I should get the timing belt checked, but since there is no way to know if the water pump has ever been replaced I guess it should be changed and I should do the timing belt while in that area. Your comments are appreciated. Can't find a way, laying under car, to turn drain plug to put in new antifreeze - what's the secret tool? The car body and interior are in excellent condition - not one ding. There is a very slight oil leak that may be coming from the oil pan seal - is this common? I tightened the pan bolts to see if this would help. Thanks
