Ihit a pot hole and busted my oil pan is this an easy removal process i looked an it appeared that the oil pan would come out without jacking the motor up or anything am i assuming right or wrong. thanks in advance.chipperdav

Had mine ('97 2.4) taken off twice. Once on a lift, and once on jackstands by my friend and I. Both times the engine and trans had to be supported and the motor mounts had to be removed so that the crossmember could have some play to drop the oil pan down low enough.
