Default clacking noise

Hi im new on here and was wondering if any of you have had this problem. When the car sits at idle, you hear a continuous clack clack. I raised the car, and got underneath. I heard this really clearly from the bellhousing, torque converter area. Could something come loose there? Its an 2004 4cyl base model with only 54k on the clock. I also have to replace the a/c clutch but that only clicks when its turned on. I would appreciate any help on this. thanks

I had a similar problem with my '97 stratus on the way to work one morning. On mine, there is a little "shield" between the engine and the bellhousing. It is currently collecting all of my oil from my rear crankcase seal leak. I unbolted it, took it off, and drove around the parking lot for a bit and the rock came right out!

Not to get off topic, but I just grinned at the thought of you driving around in circles until the rock came out!
