Default Replaced CPS and still hard starting

Hello all. I have a 2001 Stratus SE with a 2.4L DOHC. I got a PO340 malfunction code, and found that to be the crankshaft pos sensor position A bank 1. Finally put the new aftermarket sensor in today, and the light still is on, and the car takes an excessively long time to start. What did I do wrong? Car was running like a top before the light came on. My injectors have been cleaned, new fuel filter, plugs, wires and air filter. Please can someone help me with ideas? THANKS A BUNCH
