Heater gets hot at high RPM's but cold when idling
I have a 2001 Dodge Stratus 2.4L DOHC and when I am idling the heater never gets hot but if I rev up the engine to 3000 RPM's for a minute or so it will get hot. I know the AC does the same thing in the summer...it will get cold if I have the RPM's up but if I am idling it gets hot.
Any help is great

I think their is a thread about this same thing a few down but, I had this same problem and I had a clog, so I had the coolant flushed, and than everything was "A OK" but if that doesn't work you might want to get your thermostat replaced.
