Default Battery on 2001 Stratus

I have an 01 Stratus. I didn't drive it for about 2 weeks and it got a bit cold during that time. It will start when I jump it but when I shut it off it won't start without being jumped.

I have only let it run for about 5 minutes. Should I go ahead and have the battery replaced or try to jump it and run it longer. It has an alarm, so that drains the battery a bit.

I want to go to Autozone to test the alternator but I don't want to get there shut off the car and not be able to start it again.

I would get the alternator tested some how cause I have a feeling that's what your problem might be.

Have you tried to fully charge your battery? Because yoiur battery may be low and jumping your car only restores a little bit of power.

If you have I would have your alternator checked and replace/fix it if needed.
