the rear defrost is not working. the button and light comes on, but the window does not defrost...any ideals??

 

Fuse? but than again I don't think they button would turn on, if the fuse is blown, but i'd still check it anyways.

 

Mine seems to take quite a bit to get going. You are giving it some time right.

 

I would also check your fuse. I have also heard of a wiring problem in some stratus that the cables that defrost the back window lose there connection with the main wire causing it to malfunction, so this may be your problem.
