Crank Pulley Stuck
Hey Guys working on the wifes 97 2.4L stratus changing waterpump and timing belt.
I cannot get the bottom pulley off even with a nice 3 arm puller and impact gun!!!I broke a cheap puller so my buddy had a sweet snapon type.I tried a propane torch on it with no luck either

RE: Crank Pulley Stuck
I have a 97 2.0 liter and have had to take the crank pulley off more than once. Go to Auto Zone and get the chrysler puller as a loaner. It actually is made to fit that pulley (provided all the rods are there - I end up using my own rod because the rod they supply is too short) You use it for as long as you need it and then return it and get a full refund. Or don't return it and you've got a $60 puller but why do that? I don't think a torch will do a thing with all that mass.
