Default Same services, different prices, why?

I want to change my 02' stratus's transmission fluid. One local shop would charge me $160, another one $120. Why the prices are so different? Is it related to the quality of the transmission fluid?
Thx!

it could be that one place uses cheaper trans fluid, or it could just be that one charges less for the labor. when you change your trans fluid, you should look for a "power flush and fill", rather than just a change of the fluid. while its good to get the dirty fluid out, there are areas that when drained are left with sediment from the fluid. a power flush does away with most of that. the job is almost all labor, and some fluid, so places can play with the price. some cars are super easy to do...ive flushed and filled my 02 coupe, and it is pretty easy, provided that you have the machine. it can be about a 10 minute job for the mechanic...
