I drive a 01 Dodge Stratus SE with a 3.0L 6 cyl engine. The belt on my alternator came off while I was driving. I tried to replace it but couldn't get the slack out of it. I downloaded the maintenance manual and found out that I am missing a pulley between my alternator and my A/C. I have called parts stores, gone to junkyards, I even brought the schematic from the manual to a Dodge dealer and no one could tell me what that pulley was. According to the picture it is an idler pulley but no one has a part number for it or even has it listed as anything at all. Can someone please tell me what it is and what it is attached to. Thanks.
