99 stratus speaker problem
I had a 1997 Breezewhich I had a Pioneer stereo installed in. Then I got a 99 Stratus and I swapped the radio into it. But now the sound only comes out of the two speakers up on the dash. I've got no sound through the doors or in the back (basically, I have no bass at all). I didn't think that a 99 Stratus sound system was wired any differently than the Breeze, they both had the exact same factory AM/FM cassette radios in them when I got them. I even borrowed a different Pioneer stereo that a friend of mine had taken out of her 97 Breeze and hooked it up, and got the exact same results. Any ideas?
I'd bet it has an amp ...
Constant 12V+ Red
Switched 12V+ Blue
Ground Black/Yellow
Illumination n/a
Dimmer Green/Yellow
Antenna Left Rear
Left Front (+) White/Blue
Left Front (-) Black/Blue
Right Front (+) White/Red
Right Front (-) Black/Red
Left Rear (+) Yellow/Blue
Left Rear (-) Gray/Blue
Right Rear (+) Yellow/Red
Right Rear (-) Gray/Red
I'd take a 9 volt battery and connect it across the terminals listed and see if you hear the speakers click/pop

If it has an amp, will there be a separate wire which supplies power to it? I know there's a wire in the harness that came with the stereo for an amp, but I don't know where to splice it in if the car does have an amp.
I don't have the strat specific wiring diagram on the infinity amp system there is a white wire with black/silver stripes or dots that is the remote turn on for the amp that needs to be connected to the remote line on the head unit ...
