Hey everyone I was just wondering if the 2005 models have the exact same body style as the 03/04's. I ask this because when body kits for those models come out if I will be able to use those on mine. Thx everyone.

yes...the 2.4 is what is in the PT turbo and the SRT-4.

and i believe that Ripp Mods makes a supercharger kit for the 2.4L now.

 

Ripp Mods is the link. pretty sure it's a turbo. they offer several stages. and transmission upgrades I believe. it's spiffy.

 

i thought Ripp only offered belt driven blowers...not turbos..but i could be wrong...ive only ever seen the Ripp blower in person..

 

Could I buy a turbo kit the would normally go on either the cruiser or srt-4 and install it on my stratus or would it be easier to just put the super charger on it.

 

silly me, it is a supercharger. I think the internals on the engines are tweaked a little on the turbo PTs and I'm very sure they're different on the SRT-4, so that might be more involved.

 

ok..heres what i know...
at my home track there is a guy who has a mid 80s shelby 024 charger..he pulled the factory motor, and bought a 2.4 out of a new stratus, put a huge turbo on it, and runs a bottle, and off the street, runs mid-to-low 10s in the quarter..its MEAN...and looks completely stock...granted, hes running somewhere in the area of 28psi of boost, and has eagle rods...JE pistons..so on...but it is do-able.
