'05 Eclipse 3.0/'05 Stratus 3.0
I have a '05 R/T coupe. I have seen some of the CAI on ebay and have been a bit wary of them. My question is if I bought a CAI for the same year Eclipse with the 3.0L would it be a perfect fit or would I have to make mods to it. Anyone who has done this would be great to hear from. I love the Forum and hope to get a bit of help on this topic. Thanks!

some places will tell you that parts for the eclipse will not fit, as ive heard that about my stratus and my laser, but everything that ive purchased for the eclipse has fit on my stratus, and on my laser...although the guy from whom i bought my laser exhaust INSISTED that it wouldnt fit...

Guess it depends on the vehicle, I know when I was looking at a CAI on ebay for my Dak, I found a cheap K&N 63 Series for a Liberty 3.7L and I was told that it wouldn't fit. Stratus' and Eclipses are pretty damn similar though so I don't see why it wouldn't, if one for an Eclipse is cheaper... go for it.
