those numbers for the RT are with the manual...the best ive turned in my RT is 16.1....stock, it ran like 16.90

 

yes i have raced a grand prix gtp and i won easily, and grand am gt is much slower then the grand prix gtp so yes it is faster

 

There is no way you beat a GTP. They run a high 14 to low 15 stock. my friend's stock GTP ran a 14.6 stock, therefore i find it hard to believe that you easily beat GTP's.....unless you are HEAVILY modded.

 

no..i wouldnt go that far..a stock 5 speed RT with a good driver will run high 15s...with the Ripp ECU and headers and catback, provided good traction guys at 2g are getting into the 14s...

 

yeah....but that just gets you into 14's, but a stock GTP can run a 14.6....which would still be faster than the R/T......besides, that's alot of money to spend to be almost as fast as a stock GTP.

 

but what does a GTP cost? they are more than the RT...you can get a decent set of headers on ebay for like 399.95, and pull the CAT for free...and im not sure what the Ripp ECU costs, but i dont think its more than a few hundred dollars, so for, say a grand. so with that grand added on top of the price of the RT, id be willing to bet that the Rt would stil be cheaper, and get better mileage (for what thats worth)...

i would also take the RT in any race with turns...

now.....how can i pimp it out? such as exterior stuff....like tint and such.

 

well, what kinds of things do you want done? look at my gallery..i have vent visors, which i think look nice, but ont do much..and i have 10% tint on the sides..nothing on the back
