A bit of back history, engine sludge murdered my motor I got the motor rebuilt and it has been about a month since.

Now...

I thought I heard an odd noise, so it made me try to hear the noise again.. At park I revved the motor to about 4k rpm, and the motor studders, is this normal?

Any thoughts on what the problem could be?
