There`s a noise coming from behind or in the dash of my 96 Stratus. It only happens when the engine has warmed and mostly when idling. It`s like a random popping or tapping sound, along with what sounds like a motor/servo going in and out. It has gotten worse in the last few days. I just ignored it before but now it is getting on my nerves.

I lifted the hood but the noise was not coming from the engine bay, it definately comes from behind the dash console or behind the heater control area.

Any ideas what this could be?
