1). Have '05 Stratus SXT - how do I get a copy of production build list if I have VIN ?
2). A/T floor shift console- there are indicator labels for each gear position- are these label discs suppose to be lighted or is the shift indicator in instrument panel the only illuminated indicator?

 

Coupe or sedan? If its the 2.4l Auto coupe, the PRNDL on the shifter piece wont light up, just the instrument cluster. Also, the coupe is the same as the 3g eclipse. I can get the service manual, thats it.

 

I have the sedan, just the instrument cluster is the lit indication.

In referring to the build list, are you talking about what is included in the car? I got one from the dealer when I bought it from them from the used lot. They pulled up a whole lot of things, like all the installed features and such. I know I have the advanced torque converter, I guess with talking with some people, it's supposedly locks up when cruising. Since the torque converter is like a fluid coupling, it helps reduce slip and create a positive type lock while cruising, is what was explained to me, don't kill the messenger.

But that's off topic, is that what you were asking about, the list of items in the car?

 

Forgot to mention, when I first got the car, I was so used to looking at a mechanical indicator, like the 1995 Neon shifter, or my 1988 E-150, that the whole referencing the dash at night sort of threw me off. But I don't need it anymore, I go by feel. But I would like to fancy up that center console.
