Hi All,
Did anyone observe such a strange vent behaveour: it doesn't work at positions 1 through 3, while still works at 4? Happend suddenly - just stoped working when it was on. I had a look of the fuses - they all seem to be ok. What could it be?
Thanks!

had the same thing happen on my '02. it's a burned out resitor in the fan motor, common issue. mine was still under warrenty when it went, took about 15 min for the dealer to fix, call and get a quote shouldn't be that much. think there is a post on this issue and how to fix yourself (use the search). happy motoring.

I would replace the motor as well. I had the same problem on my 98 and just replaced the resistor and a few months later it blew again. When the motor gets old it pulls more current causing the resistor to blow. Save yourself the time and money and do them both at the same time, most places won't warranty the resistor for more then a few days.
