Most Hondas don't have timing belt covers. Sorry, just had to get that out there.

Just wondering what honda models come stock with no timing belt covers? I've never seen one without it (and i've seen a LOT of 'em), unless its been removed by the owner for whatever reason.

Hydrolic lifters are notorious far tapping in our cars, I added some seafoam to the oil and mine stopped tapping and havnt since, and it's been 30K miles.

As far as running with the timing belt cover off, that is the dumbest thing I have heard of, you get something in there and strips that cam gear your cylinders can swallow your valves and you will be buying a new engine. It's a 1/million thing but why risk it, to say nothing of adding another place to get gummed up with dirt and road grime.
