i bought a '95 stratus, runs great on starting fluid, the fuel pump cycles, we jumped the pump to see if it would run longer than prime and it sounded fine, but we're barely getting a trickle out of the fuel line in the engine bay, anything common happen like this on stratus/breeze?

 

plugged fuel filter, leak in line, crack in pump, or taking in air somwhere

 

fuel filter is clean, dropped the tank and pressurized the pump, putting out maybe 15psi max, replaced the fuel pump, got about 45psi, then heard a `pop` and now that one hovers around 12-15psi aswell

 

MIGHT WANT TO CHECK ELECTRICAL... AND THE LINES THEMSELVES.. DEPENDING ON THE 'POP' YOU HEARD.. A LOUD POP COULD MEAN BLOWING ANOTHER PUMP.. IN WHICH THE LINES COULD BE CLOGGED.. CORRODED.. OR WHAT NOT... CHECK THEM FIRST.. OR THERE COULD BE AN ELECTRICAL SHORT SOMEWHERE.. AND A RELAY IS 'CATCHING' .. HAPPENED ON MY 88 SAFARI I HAD
