Just wondering if anyone has changed the serpentine belt on a 2000 Stratus with 2.4 liter engine. I've changed belts on various vehicles but this one looks like it might be tougher than most and not alot of room to work with tools. Rather get some advice and instructions before I try and have a problem. Thanks for any and all advice.

i don't think it is too difficult. I've had it most of the way off already. You need to loosen up the alternator and then take the tightening bolt out totally to allow the alternator to pivot in enough to get the belt off of it. the part I haven't been able to do yet is get it off past the main pulley on the crank shaft. I don't think you need any special tools.
