Default Brakes smoking and rubbing sound

last night i was drivin around after i changed my front rotors and pads and there is a rubbing sound coming from the front left and after stopping alot my brakes start to smoke. is this common with the new rotors and pads?

Did you use brake cleaner on the new rotors ??? They are normally treated with an antirust agent and not cleaning that off will cause smoking , the rubbing may be wearing in setting

i did spray the brake cleaner on there...mabye i didnt get it all? and what do you mean by wearing in setting?
