When I try to start my 06 sxt stratus a 20amp fuse labeled start/fuel blows. If I jump it. It starts fine and runs fine..until I shut it off. Is it the battery or a short?

 

I would guess a short...

 

Your ground cable might need upgraded.

 

Sounds more lick a short than bad battery IMO.Mainly b/c of your fuse blowing.Ive never heard of something like that happening when youve just got a bad battery.I would check battery cables first-make sure theres no corrosion or oxidation and that the wires themselves arent bad.
