The 00-05 was never made in GS-T trim. Thats 95-99, and I dont think those transmissions will work. I would go for something newer anyways.

 

Ok cool thanx- I think I found a 2001 eclipse tranny for 450-
Thats my best find yet-

 

Ok so the tranny was from a 2002 Eclipse 2.4l-
Will be installed tomorrow- crossing my fingers it runs great and with the new clutch, presure plate and Throwout bearing, Im hoping for an improved smooth shift, not hard to shift into first and reverse like before- I got a 60 day warranty on the tranny and I know where another one is for 400- just found out so we will see---

 

Ok got the 2002 eclipse tranny for 450-
They put it in and the clutch and I drove it yesterday. It shifts like a dream now, smooth like butter.
I put pensoil synchromesh in the tranny as I had read people are very happy with it and 7 bux a quart is way better than 15-
