hey Nate,
I bought the kit for the 9007 lights, and the wires that plug into the stock harness only had 2 wires, the black, and the red. I plugged them into the black/red on the factory harness, and plugged the new lights in, and they didn't come on...so i have no idea what is wrong.

Thanks for your response!

Have you tried switching the wires around? The black wire should stay where it is, try switching the red to the other slot. You have the ballasts hooked up and everything?

hey,
sorry it's taken so long to respond.

But I have all the wires hooked up to the ballast, then I hooked them up to the light, with the light in the car headlight casing, and when I turn my dial in the car to where the headlights should be on, only the orange driving lights come on. The HID lights don't turn on at all. So...I have NO idea what's wrong. I tried with the red wire on either side of the black one, and still nothing happens.

Any other thoughts? I'm clueless.

p.s. the only thing I don't have in would be the ballasts actually mounted in the car. But this shouldn't have anything to do with the lights not coming on should it? because the kit came with double sided tape to mount them in the car.

Have you tried the factory bulbs again to make sure they are still working. If they're working, than it sounds like it's time to call the manufacturer of the HID kit for a replacement, as something with the kit, not the car, is broken.

right now I have a pair of Silverstar CoolBlue headlight bulbs in, and they work, so I'm going to take a guess that something is wrong with the Kit.

i have to add my two cents
lets say you have everything hooked up correctly Is your battery voltage above 11 volts. someone told me about these lights that if the battery volts is below 11 the lights wont come on
if you left the key on for a long time and the battery drained down or is weak
you could just start the car and maybe they will work ??? just a idea I don't know if that's true
