howdy there, I have a 2000 dodge stratus with the 2.4 4 cylinder with an automatic transmission. It has 122 k miles on it and it has done me well every single mile untill now. here recently the transmission has not been able to shift into second gear. reverse, neutral, and park all work fine and smooth but when its in drive it just wont shift into 2nd. i just had the transmission flushed and it didnt help. any suggestions??? i will find out the codes from autozone next week but does anybody have any words of advice??

Have the stored code remove from the TCM. The transmission maybe in limp in. Once you get the codes, post them. Could be a sensor or something in the transmission.

 

i went to advance auto parts today and got the codes they are P0700 and P0755. They told me that the first code just told me that there was a transmission problem and the second code meant that the cellanoid needed to be changed. should i just go off what he said and change the cellanoid or could it just be a quick easy fix? thanks again.
