Default gurgling sound?

1997 Stratus makes a gurgling sound after I shut the engine off. It lasts for a while. I smell antifreeze too. Any suggestions? Thanks!

its overheating...let it sit until the radiator is cool to the touch, then check the coolant level...also check the coolant resevoir for a dark greenish grey foam...if it is present, you have a bad head gasket...if it is not, i woudl check into the thermostat or a water pump.

Turns out that the fluid in the radiator and also the reservoir was very low. I haven't tried to run it yet and see if filling them cured the problem. Could this have just been it, or do you think it is one of the other things too? I can smell antifreeze when it's warm and parked. Thanks!

do you park it inside where you could watch the ground under it for drip marks?

No drips that I've noticed.
