Okay so this has been happening on and off for a while now... My car will idle up high by it self Ive tried pushing the accelerator and turning the car off and back on nothing seems to wrk and my check engine light is not coming on ughh not only that my car waste gas like crazy... 96, 2.4, es... I jus got seafoam I was tld to pour some in the brake booster vacuum hose which i dnt knw where it is located..PLS HELP

 

Check all of your vacuum lines for leaks, you can spray carb cleaner around all of the vacuum line if it revs higher then you found a leak (be careful). You can also try cleaning out the intake air sensor as that controls the vacuum, pull it off spray some carb cleaner in it then blow it out with an air hose. If it's the same as my car it will be in the intake close to the fans for the radiator. Just some cheap easy things to check.
