Default RE: Dreamspeed cold air intake questions

on the exterior of the motor they may be the same design. but they are a different motor. the mits designed or is a sohc and the dodge motor is a dohc motor. the coupes have the mits motor and the sedans have the DC motor. right down to the difference in the oil filter. noot all parts will be interchangeable. the cold air intake system may be the same design. as for design alot of the srt parts will fot on the sedan motor as they are both the dc designed 2.4 dohc motor.

I found a cold air intake for my 2004 Stratus Coupe SXT with the 2.4 Liter engine. It is made by dreamspeed model CP 433. It costs $110 on the dreamspeed2.com website. It claims to increase HP by 5 - 6 HP. What I wanted to know is is this a good price and does anyone know what performance increases I should expect.
If you can get a CAI for that lil amount of money and it will actually fit on your 2004. Then I would get it in no time. And the things that change are small. BUT, your car may have to be tuned after you put it on because air flow increases 10 fold. You will also notice that it wont sound the same either. It also wont have as much of a slow start, since slow starts are often because of restricted amounts of air-flow to the engine.
