Default 06 Stratus issue.

our 2006 has the 2.7L and has almost 90,000 miles on her. Whenever we drive over a bump of some sort, it sounds like something is loose and rattling in the front end. Any idea's as to what it could be? It feels like one of the front tires are going to fall off.

To be honest with you it could be anything. But what happens when you make tight turns? Does it only make the sound when you go over bumps? It could be a broken shock. Take a look underneath and see if the shock is just loosely hanging about... Let us know.

Only when going over bumps. I thought about the shocks since we just got done with winter here in Ohio and my mom doesn't try to miss pot holes but the shocks seem fine. I'll jack her up hopefully this weekend and check out the tie rod ends.

when you jack it up, if you grab the tire at "Noon" and "6", and "9" and "3" if you can push and pull it back and fourth its the Tie Rod Ends
